Robert One of Two Candidates For Putnam Trustee on Nov. 5
A Putnam Township man with longtime roots in the township is seeking one of four trustee spots on the township board.
Jim Robert spent summers in Putnam Township starting in 1975 and moved to the township permanently upon retiring from the US Postal Service 11 years ago.
“When elected to the Township Board, my priorities will be to acquire more police protection for Township residents and getting a full-blown recycling program up and running,” he said.
Robert is active in the township senior center.
He and Jim Brady are the only two Democrats running for the four seats on the Putnam Township board. It is not necessary to vote for someone in all four spots. In fact, voting only for Robert and Brady increases their chances against the four Democrats.
