Elliott Running for Handy Township Board
A retired teacher from Howell Public Schools is seeking a spot on the Handy Township board.
Carol Elliot, of Fowlerville, is the only Democrat running for the position of Trustee.
“I am running to be involved in the future of Handy Township,” Elliott said.
“As I drive through the township, I see so many new homes. Population
growth can be negative or positive. The townships needs to make sure
it is prepared so that the outcome is positive. The township trustees need to consider the qualities of the roads, water and power to accommodate new growth. These are nonpartisan issues that we are all concerned about.”
Although there is more than one township trustee position open on the Handy board, Elliott’s chances of victory are improved if voters vote only for her. It is not necessary to vote for multiple trustees.
