A longtime Putnam Township resident is running for a spot on the Putnam Township board of trustees.

Jim Brady has lived in Putnam Township for 24 years.

He is a professional airline pilot and pilots’ union leader.

“In 2018, I quarterbacked an effort to resurface and gutter my subdivision through a special assessment district,” Brady said.

“As a Township board member, I will focus on addressing other infrastructure needs and on putting in place more services for our seniors.”

Brady and another Democrat, Jim Robert, are both seeking spots on the Putnam Township board in the Nov. 5 election. Although there are four trustee spots open, it is not necessary to vote for every spot. Voting only for Brady and Robert increases their chances of winning against the four Republicans.
